How to Sew a Tank Dress that Buttons in the Back

We are getting closer and closer to hot summer days spent frolicking in light airy dresses and sandals and I couldn't be happier about it.  I've been spending my entire winter dreaming up fun little dresses to make for my daughter and now I'm deep into production mode.  This latest dress is a variation on the tank blouse that I blogged about in my last post.  So instead of repeating the tutorial, you can just refer to that tutorial for all the details on making your own dress.  

Supplies:

• Cotton or linen fabric
• 3 buttons

For the length of the skirt of the dress, I measured my daughter from the just below her chest to right above the knee and then added 1 1/2 inch seam and hem allowance.  So the measurement for the skirt of this dress was 13 inches.
